I like making treats for pups.
Dora is who I trust to taste test my batches of dog biscuits. I baked my first batch for her, on a whim and to thank her and her humans for hosting us for a few days in their beautifully remodeled country house. These are the same friends with whom we went fishing and I wrangled a load of fish.
She gave them her seal of approval (as did her friend Dakota) so I decided to bake a batch to sell at a pop-up farmstand at my community garden.
My Pacific Street Bear’s Community Garden celebrated 30 years this month, y’all. We put on a big BBQ bash at the garden a few weeks ago and invited the neighborhood.
We plan on going for another thirty in spite of the Developer-Who-Cannot-Be-Named assaulting our neighborhoods with stadiums and ill-fitting high towers.
It’s gonna be community gardens, farmstands, and doggie biscuits that makes the world a better place. Don’t forget to show your support for them!
