There has to be a mourning after.
When the going gets tough, the tough make pancakes.
I am going to be honest with you for a moment (please excuse me if I offend): I am beginning to think NYC is surrounded by a Zombie swarm also known as middle (white) America, and because they have no brains they want to eat ours.
I know I am being insensitive to the part of America who never accepted Obama as their President. And let me say that I know where they’re coming from because I felt that disenfranchisement for the 8 years of Bush’s regime.
So this Sunday after what I am going to call the Great American Shame (Part II), I made a batch of pancakes. A traditional Korean pancake.
Made from mung bean.
Is this the rejection of the American pancake? I don’t know, but I’ve been having Korean breakfast for the past four days now.
But I don’t reject America. I love America.
This land is your land, this land is my land…God blessed America for you and me.
